Chaka Khan.....................Chaka Khan is one of the most popular and richest R&B Singer who was born on March 23 1953 in Chicago Illinois United States. R&B voice that is well-known for her cover of Prince's I Feel for You. I Feel for You, the hit single performed by Rufus' frontwoman has also been widely acclaimed as a success. Rufus is her other band. Khan was born Catholic. She studied at the Hyde Park Saint Thomas the Apostle Church's school for elementary students. Her grandmother, she said was the one who introduced her to the jazz genre as a child, was responsible for her musical passion. Khan was an teen at the time she became a fervent admirer of blues and rhythm music. In her eleventh year she founded a girl-group known as Crystalettes which included Taka. Following her departure from the Panthers she stopped attending high school, after having been a student for a year at Calumet High School. Her first gig was around Chicago in bands of small size and with her lover Hassan Khan. Chaka as well as Hassan Khan got married in the 1970s.
