Allya Taylor Joy was born on 16 April 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. Her father is an Argentinan of Scottish as well as English descent is her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. She was the first born of a clan that included six children. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. After living within Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria.
