Harry
Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician from England. He was part of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1 1994, and is the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former pupil of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools, created a band named White Eskimo with three fellow students. Following their victory in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, they were also a part of the Battle of Bands in 2010. Although he has always been fascinated by music, he was also hoping to be an attorney or physiotherapist. Working part-time in a local bakery was his first occupation to earn money for the family. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's track Is not She Lovely. The group was then forced to disband due to this. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd form a group named One Direction after the X Test audition. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that began in the year 2010. The group sang the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. As a result, they were among the finalist. The group was however placed third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell were not able to take home the prize. However, Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
