Arianna Huffington
Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She was a co-founder of The Huffington Post the founder and CEO of Thrive Global and the author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington is a journalist, writer, journalist, TV host, and also the proprietor of The Huffington Post. After moving into England from Greece at 16 She earned an MA in Economics at Cambridge University. She was the first student who was not from the UK to become the president of The Cambridge Union at the age of 21. She became a syndicated conservative writer following her graduation. When The Huffington Post launched a few years later, she developed an online voice platform which offered critiques of political scenarios. The fame of Arianna helped to attract several famous contributors who shared their opinions on the news as well as politics and culture. Arianna became famous when she ran in the California recall election to succeed Governor Davis. She also headed a Detroit energy-efficient vehicle project. Forbes listed her as one of one of the "most important female" in the media industry, placing her at 12th. Guardian placed her on their list of 100 most influential media people in 2009. AOL, Inc. appointed her President of their media division in 2011 after they acquired The Huffington Post. The Huffington Post also included the other AOL brands, including Engadget AOLmusic Style list as well as Patch Media. She was the daughter of journalist and manager Konstantinos as well as his spouse Elli Stasinopoulos. Though she was close with her father, it was the relationship she shared with her mother that formed her entire life. From her early years, she showed leadership abilities that are still highly regarded. When she was 16 years old, she moved over in England in the United Kingdom for her higher education. She attended Girton College Cambridge. In the time of her studies she was a member of the Cambridge Union debating group where she became the first female president and sole foreign president. In 1972, she earned a Masters in Economics. Her career as a journalist and television host started after her graduation. She was on the show with Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she started writing the books she wrote with Bernard Levin's assistance.
